Great River Asylum Support Partners
The goal of GRASP is to do what is necessary to provide a safe and peaceful place for families and individuals seeking asylum in the United States of America. We believe that welcoming diverse people into our community enhances all of our lives. New languages, life experiences, and cultural diversity are gifts we receive in welcoming asylum seekers from foreign lands.
We recognize the dignity and worth of all human beings, regardless of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, or age, and will conduct all of our affairs supporting equitable human and civil rights.
We may have the luxury of waiting, but people on our southern border do not. The Winona community is currently supporting two families from Central America and hopes to do more. Please consider donating to help a family in need.
